Spill Response
With advancements in drone technology, drones have become a crucial asset in hazmat and emergency spill response. Drones can provide rapid initial assessments and risk analysis to allocate resources and determine a plan of action while also identifying potential hazards. With quick mobilization times and minimal setup, we aim to provide high-quality aerial imagery in real-time in the field.
Our drones will provide a safe means of capturing data and allow for a view of the affected area that wouldn’t be visible on foot. We are able to produce data that can play a vital role in any spill response management plan.
Surveying & Maping
Drone surveys can acquire thousands of georeferenced points with centimeter grade accuracy in a fraction of the time required to perform a ground survey. Utilizing the survey-grade equipped Matrice300rtk and multiple sensors allows us to gather more data, resulting in more accurate models and maps while reducing manpower and costs. Using this data to create 3D models, orthomosaic maps, and DEMs allows for easy visualization and the ability to measure distance, surface area, and volume with ease.
High resolution Inspections
Tower Inspections (Telecom/ Powerline)
Safely and effectively inspect the current condition of the tower and mounted equipment. Our machines allow you views from all angles of a tower with use of high resolution drone photogrammetry, cutting costs and minimizing risks associated with traditional means of inspection. Establish a baseline for future inspections with the use of geo-referenced imagery, which will provide the ability to view the same angles and capture any change/ deterioration of the infrastructure.
Solar Panel Inspections
Drones are becoming a vital tool for solar panel inspections. Allowing for much faster data capturing and analysis than manual methods. Eliminate the need for “boots on the ground” and keep your workers safe by allowing the drone to inspect for you. With the use of our Matrice 300RTK paired with the Zenmuse H20t you will be able to cover large areas and angles in a highly effective manner. The thermal capabilities of the camera will capture areas of the panels that are under-performing and need to be addressed.
Bridge Inspections
UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles) provide a cost-effective solution to quickly identify structural damages and deterioration issues. Using drones combined with inspection software, 3D modelling and high resolution imagery can be created to identify faults such as cracks, spalls, wear, delamination, rust and so on. Fisheries & Waterways
As an indigenous enterprise, the protection of fisheries resources and their habitats is incredibly important to us. With Pacific salmon stocks in decline, Pathfinder UAV has been working with First Nations Fisheries organizations to support local salmon recovery initiatives. We would like to expand current relationships within the fisheries sector and find new innovative ways to put our drones to work in the fight to save our salmon.

Emergency Response
We offer 24/7 On call emergency response for Search and Rescue as well as fire ground operations.
Search & Rescue
Our drones are quickly deployed and capable of covering large areas of land to assist in locating lost individuals or assets. We are able to fly in areas that are treacherous or impossible to reach by foot and can fly during night operations with use of our Zenmuse H20t thermal camera. UAV’s have the ability to capture 4k video, fly automated grid patterns and be used in coordination with ground operations to increase the likelihood of finding missing persons. Our set-up includes the use of monitors and software that offers real time viewing of ongoing operations.
When victims or assets are found, a precise geo-referenced location can immediately be relayed back to the operational lead.
Fire Ground Operations
Being volunteer firefighters, we understand the value of the information that drones can provide on the fireground. Drones can get a birds eye view to help assess the fire ground and can eliminate the need for firefighters to enter dangerous areas. We offer the ability with our thermal imagery to find the seat of the fire and capture it’s progress to aid in fire suppression in both structural and wildland operations.
We have the ability to create high resolution thermal orthomosaic maps for wildland fire hot spot detection to aid with locating and snuffing out smouldering areas. Our Matrice 300 RTK paired with the Zenmuse H20t thermal camera will be invaluable on the fire ground and provide real time data to assist in the quickest extinguishment possible.
Construction
Drones can get an aerial perspective of your construction site. From there, photos, 3D models, orthomosaic maps and 4K video can be obtained to help plan, monitor and track construction progress. With an overview of your construction site, you can quickly identify and inspect hazards to ensure the safety of all workers. With our Matrice 300RTK we can quickly capture data with centimeter accuracy.
